The new ACP & ACK grades of inserts from Sumitomo feature patented "Super ZX" and "Super FF" coating grades for increased tool life and productivity. These new grades of inserts are available in three milling cutter styles:

1. WEX - 90 Degree End/Shell Mills

2. WGC - 45 Degree Face Mills

3. METAL SLASH - High Feed Shell Mills

• The WEX Mill was designed to incorporate all of the best features of the top indexable cutters made today. They generate excellent surface finishes and the straightest shoulder accuracy in step-down milling of all the best brands. But most of all…THE INSERTS ARE REALLY INEXPENSIVE. Even if you only use this cutter for roughing, you'll notice the savings. The finish quality is the bonus.

• The WGC Cutters and Inserts are COMPLETELY INTERCHANGEABLE WITH SANDVIK'S R245 Series CUTTERS. The New ACP and ACK grades will cost less than a similar Sandvik insert by $3.00-$5.00. Throw in a FREE CUTTER BODY and the savings just keep adding up.

• The Metal Slash Mill can be fed at rates of up to .078 IPT in high productivity milling. The four corner insert design yields low tooling cost per part.

The ACP inserts work Exceptionally well on Stainless Steel, Exotic Materials and Steel. The ACK grades are outstanding on Cast Irons, and have also worked well in 17-4 PH & 304L SS.
